This course is structured for 35 CPE hours of self-paced study using the course manual and supplementary materials. Once prepared and prior to the deadline, students must complete and pass a three (3) hour certification exam requiring an 85% passing score.

The CAIGO certification exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions with a three (3) hour time limit. A passing score of 85% (85 correct answers) is required. The exam is delivered through a proctored online examination platform.

Certification is valid for three years, with renewal requiring 60 CPE hours per cycle including 4 hours in professional ethics annually.
